Yaroitemal is 2015 Liberation Queen

Zolenska Yaroitemal was crowned as the 2015 Liberation Queen after outselling four other candidates for the most number of tickets.

Yaroitemal was crowned last night at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan. With tears of joy she accepted the crown and said that it was all because of her family.

Yaroitemal, representing the Northern Islands for the first time in Liberation Day Royal Court history, is a waitress at Laolao Bay Golf Resort. She joined the competition for experience and to help the community.

Her parents are Pius and Gina Yaroitemal of Kagman. Zolenska plans to continue her studies at the Northern Marianas College with a degree in criminal justice.

The rest of the 2015 Royal Court are Stephanie Camacho, who is the 2015 Royal Princess; Ashley Tabilisma, who is the 2015 First Princess; Elizabeth Basa, who is the 2015 Liberation Day Princess; and Mary Jane Anon who, is the 2015 Liberation Day Princess as well.

Pressel Camacho, 2014 Liberation Queen, said that she was happy to serve the CNMI, but was disappointed as well in the process.

Camacho, in her remarks, said that after she had the opportunity to go to Japan last September, for the remaining months as the 2014 Liberation Queen she was left out on all the events she was lined up for.

The 2015 Liberation Royal Court raised at total of $31,000.

Those who purchase a ticket will have a chance to win the $10,000 grand prize, $5,000 baby grand prize, $3,000 first place, and $1,000, $500, $250, $100 in other cash prizes.
