Xerox open house tech show today
Xerox Corp. will be hosting an open house tech show at its office in Garapan today.
According to Services and Solutions executive Nola K. Hix, the company will be showing the latest technologies Xerox has to offer.
This includes their Digital Alternatives Tool, which is a cloud-based app that allows users to share documents across all computers and mobile devices. It can also easily read documents like on a tablet, take digital notes on pages, fill out any form, and digitally sign any document.
They will also be featuring technology that enables printing right from a mobile smart phone or tablet PC to Xerox units.
Hix will be hosting the event, which will also be attended by Pam Quinata, Xerox’s Guam and Saipan general manager; and Michael Person, their network printer specialist for Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
Aside from having their pictures from using a photo-booth, guests will also have a chance to win giveaways such as Joeten shopping sprees, movie passes, and free gas from Shell as well as free VIP tickets to the next concert on Saipan scheduled for Aug. 8.
A morning and an afternoon session will be held at 9am and 1pm respectively at their ground floor office in the Alter City Group Building.
Last year, Xerox held an open house as part of their 38th anniversary of doing business on the islands.
