Woo, Ryu top seeds in men’s doubles 5.0

Boys 18-and-under singles opponents Jimin Woo and Sam Ryu have teamed up and are the top seeds in the men’s doubles 5.0 of the 2021 TanHoldings Tennis Classic.

Woo and Ryu headline the start of the 18-and-over portion of the 2021 TanHoldings Tennis Classic this weekend at the American Memorial Park tennis courts.

Colin Ramsey and Moris Villanueva are expected to crowd Woo and Ryu for the championship of the men’s doubles 5.0 as they’re ranked No. 2.
In the men’s singles 5.0, Woo has pole position as the top seed with Sean Lee seeded second. Other players in the division are Jun Wang, Luther Lizama, and Colin Ramsey.

Boys 16-and-under champion Hye Jin Elliot and runner-up Serin Chung will duke it out in the women’s singles 5.0 as they’re the only entries in the category.

In the men’s singles 4.0, the top seed is Wataru Kadokura with Nason Wessel seeded second.

There’s a three-player pool in the women’s singles 4.0 with Hoo Wang, Irin Chung, and Savita Sikkel contesting the championship.

Irin Chung and Wataru Kadokura headline the teams in the mixed doubles 4.0 with Marivic Dunlop and George Poquiz ranked second.

Other division at stake in this weekend’s 2021 TanHoldings Tennis Classic are the men’s doubles 4.0, women’s doubles 4.0, men’s doubles 50-and-over, men’s doubles 40-and-over, men’s singles 50-and-over, men’s singles 60-and-over, men’s doubles 60-and-over, mixed doubles 50-and-over, mixed doubles 3.0, men’s doubles 2.0, women’s doubles 2.0, men’s singles 3.0, and women’s singles 3.0.
