Wolf brothers thank supporters

Jonathan and Kelvin Wolf are thanking supporters for making their recent trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to compete in the National and Junior National Speech & Debate National Tournament a success.
In his first-ever trip to the weeklong tournament, Jonathan won first place in the Declamation category in the junior high school division—a first for the CNMI.
The Dan Dan Middle School student also placed third in the nation in the category of Humorous Interpretation.
Kelvin, meanwhile, finished in the Top 40 in the Storytelling category in the high school division.
“To each and every supporter, I thank you for making my trip to represent the CNMI in the National Junior Speech & Debate National Tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah a possibility,” said Jonathan.
He went on to name the following supporters: 360 Restaurant, 7th Day Adventist, Barney’s Pizza, Best Sunshine, Consul Eli Arago, Darlene Cabrera, ELS Auto Shop, Herman’s Modern Bakery, Islander Rent-a-Car, Meridian Land Surveying, NAPA Auto Parts, Mary Aldan Pierce, Precinct 1 Rep. Ed Propst, Saipan Shipping Company, Shirley’s Coffee Shop, SP Dancoe & Associates, John Tenorio (J’s Restaurant), Thomas Thornburgh, Tropical Blends, Manny and Luci Vitug, Miles and Evelyn King, and Dawn and Magdalena Sarmiento.
“To my Aunie Ana, my success is for you!” he also said.
Kelvin, for his part, said “I owe my accomplishments to the following supporters who assisted my trip to the National Speech & Debate National Tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah. My sincerest gratitude!”
He also thanked Auntie Ana, who he said continues to be his inspiration.
