Wire theft near Obyan Beach

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a theft incident that occurred at a CUC water well located near Obyan Beach.

On Monday, Sept. 20, 2011, at about 10am, CUC employees discovered that the drop line connected to the water well was missing. The drop line was cut from the telephone pole and stolen.

It is estimated that the length of the copper wire is from 160 to 180 feet. The estimated value of the stolen copper wire (drop line) is over $1,500.
