Win propels Wild Bill’s to Thursday lead

Nong Detdon went undefeated in all of his matches to lead Wild Bill’s to a 10-5 decision over the Jokers Homeboyz in last week’s games in the Budweiser-Saipan Billiards Association Open 8-Ball Thursday League.

Detdon played two singles games then teamed up with Rey Pinangay in beating Cesar Sangalang and Neil Ayson in the partner’s event.

The win pushed Wild Bill’s on top of the standings with a 47-28 slate to enjoy a five-game advantage over sister teams Abyss Rack ‘N’ Roll and Titans, who are tied at second place with 42-33 cards.

The Homeboyz dropped to fifth at 37-38, just one game behind Route33 Alamo Car Rental (37-38).

The Smoke Pub Magic 8 Ball (36-39), Jonny’s Team SCS 36-39), Jokers Wonderpool Aces (35-40), Barcode Hobbies Deadshot (34-41), and Barcode Breakers (28-47) complete the standings.

In the Tuesday League, the Smoke Pub Armatech Hustlers hold a 42-33 record against the 41-34 mark of the Jokers IT&E Voyagers.

The Jokers Str8 Shooters (39-36), Abyss Crazy 8 (35-40), Smoke Pub Destroyers (35-40), and the Abyss Homeboyz II (33-42) are the other competing teams.
