Night comes,
The crickets sing their tune,
Larvae in cocoons,
Ants on a silent move,
Like troops who hum under the moon.
But eyes are the way of the night,
Mindful of what might strike.
Spiders, with their eyes a-plenty,
Owls with eyes the size of the moon,
Watching mice looming under a dark hood.
But trees win the prize,
For the best set of eyes,
With eyes unseen but keen,
Watchful in the night.
Why are zebras black and white?

A long time ago… all animals were black and white. UNTIL A MAGICAL RAINBOW WIZARD CAME! (Aka color cameras *cough* the wizards were inside the cameras) The color wizards gave every animal color, except for the zebras because they were jerks. But, a black and white wizard took pity on the zebras. She couldn’t do much but, still she gave the zebras the colors she had, black and white.
Or maybe….
Zebras are pianos!!! (*plays dun DUN DUNNNN on the piano*)
