Weather advisories for Guam and CNMI

Individuals working or playing in or around the waters of Guam and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands are reminded to use extreme caution over the next few days due to the high surf and winds that are being experience around the islands.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for both Marianas and Micronesia. Hazardous surf of 8 to 10 feet is forecasted for the next several days. A Wind Advisory has been issued due to winds building between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. These weather conditions could make for hazardous situations in and along the waters of Guam and CNMI. The public is strongly advised to continue to monitor National Weather Service weather advisories for updates.
