On Tuesday, Nov. 14, at about 11:50am, police responded to a disturbing the peace incident at a residence in Chalan Kanoa. Upon arrival police met with the victim, a 23-year-old male and learned that an argument had occurred between the victim and his uncle (suspect), 42-year-old Joseph Ichihara Norita.

The suspect allegedly threatened to shoot the victim, who called the police.

Police recovered several firearms at the home. The report did not indicate the type of weapons seized. Norita was arrested on charges of assault and battery and disturbing the peace. Additional charges are forthcoming.
