Water service outage in China Town, Upper MIHA, Sugar King Estate

There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, from 8am to 4pm for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in China Town, Upper MIHA, and Sugar King Estate.

CUC’s contractor for the China Town Waterline Replacement Project will be connecting the new water main to the existing waterline along Sugar King Road in China Town. Water services to affected areas will resume soon after.

This project is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The newly installed distribution line will be commissioned after passing the required testing and disinfection procedures. With the new waterline replacement, customers will be able to receive sufficient and beneficial water services. (PR)
