Water service interruption in Papago, San Vicente, Laolao, Tuturam, Upper Dandan
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be an emergency water service interruption today, Dec. 17, 2021, from 12pm to 4pm for customers in Papago, San Vicente, Laolao, Tuturam and Upper Dandan.
The emergency scheduled water service interruptions is to allow CUC’s contractor for the San Vicente Water Tank Replacement Project to install a bypass system for the pressure sustaining valve assembly prior to disinfecting the newly constructed San Vicente Tank. Water service to the affected areas will resume today, Dec. 17, at 4pm.
This forms part of the series of water interruptions in these areas that started on Dec. 14, 2021.
This project is part of the San Vicente Water Tank Replacement Project to provide a more reliable water system to the people of the CNMI. It is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
