Warning out for small sea vessels

Based on information received from the National Weather Service in Tiyan, Guam, and compiled at the CNMI Emergency Operations Center, moderate to fresh trade winds with frequent gusts over 25 knots and combined seas of 8 to 10 feet will persist for a couple more days producing hazardous conditions for operators of small craft.

The general public and inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, are being advised to avoid sailing in these conditions. If travel by boat is necessary, exercise caution when entering or leaving harbors and inlets. (EOC)
