Walk to Remember on July 26

In honor of Bereaved Parents Month, the group We Remember Them, CNMI, is holding a Walk to Remember, in honor of all children who have died too soon. The group is asking all bereaved families to walk together as a symbolic way to show the love we carry for the children we mourn and honor.

The short walk will be held on Thursday, July 26, starting at 5:30pm at Minachom Atdao Pavilion; participants are encouraged to wear black and white: black for grief and white for hope. Families are welcome to bring a photo of their loved one to put on a table at the pavilion.

We Remember Them, CNMI is inviting the Saipan community to join them to support their families; the mental and physical effects of child loss are enormous. Lives are forever altered. Your compassion and support are greatly appreciated.

Participants will join together to share in a potluck meal after the walk; please bring finger-food to share. Water will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
