Coca-Cola’s “How do you vitaminwater?” joint photo contest with Power 99 elicited from the community slices of brilliant lives captured in megapixels and posted on the Power 99 Facebook Page.

Focusing on the theme, “vitaminwater makes boring brilliant,” contestants e-mailed photos that show how they live vibrant lives with Glaceau vitaminwater. The three entries that garnered the most number of “Likes” by Memorial Day received top-of-the-line multimedia and gaming gadgets from Coca-Cola in an awards ceremony held at the Coca-Cola offices on May 30.

Guillermo C. Santos, a Dandan resident and a lifeguard at one of the local water parks, submitted a photo of himself doing a back flip in Bantalan with XXX, his favorite vitaminwater flavor. The snapshot earned him 453 Likes and the top prize, an Xbox One entertainment system.

Second place winner, Peachy Quitugua of Tanapag, e-mailed a photo of herself drinking vitaminwater Focus after a mixed martial arts workout. The photo gained 390 Likes, for which Quitugua received a PS4 game console.

Ray L. Babauta of Koblerville submitted a photo that showed his boogie boarding abilities. The picture gathered 339 Likes and the third prize, a Kindle Fire HD tablet.

“We are thankful for the inspiring submissions that show the people in our island community pursuing their passion in life with one of our very popular beverages, vitaminwater. The success of our vitaminwater photo contest is very encouraging and Coca-Cola is glad to have played a part in sparking creativity that is evident in the entries that we received,” said Marcos W. Fong, CEO, Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia). (PR)
