Video clip shows two suspects in Gualo Rai burglary

The Department of Public Safety is looking for two men who have are suspected of burglarizing a Gualo Rai home last Nov. 16, with a surveillance video allegedly catching the two in the act.

A police statement said that DPS received a 911 call at about 8:03pm that same day reporting a burglary and theft incident at a private residence in Gualo Rai.

Police arrived at the scene and met with two individuals who live in the home and they immediately showed police the surveillance footage of two suspects walking through the front gate. The individuals told police that their mother’s bedroom was found disarranged, with several items missing. Police soon noticed one room had all its drawers opened, with belongings scattered throughout the home.

Video surveillance shows the two suspects, one wearing a dark hooded jacket and the other wearing light-colored clothing and a light-colored cap, walking out of the home with stolen items.

DPS reports the following as missing: one silver-colored Asus laptop, one white iPhone, one brown Louis Vuitton suitcase, one silver necklace with a Jesus cross, one Louis Vuitton gold pen, two black Louis Vuitton purses, and two black Louis Vuitton wallets.

Last Oct. 30, a Koblerville home was burglarized and the suspect stole a laptop, two pairs of sunglasses, a Gucci wallet and purse, and a Celine Boston bag. DPS confirmed no arrests have been made in relation to that case.
