Florita Arbas Rivera

The Department of Public Safety is following up on a tip related to the woman who was reported missing last Nov. 26. DPS spokesperson Adrian Pangelinan said that DPS received a tip that Florita Arbas Rivera was last seen entering a poker arcade near the Micro Beach Hotel the day before she went missing.

Other than that, there is no further updates on the case and it remains ongoing, Pangelinan said.

A DPS source told Saipan Tribune that DPS has received footage from a video surveillance camera that allegedly shows Rivera entering the poker arcade before midnight on Nov. 24, and leaving the establishment at 2:33am on Nov. 25, walking in the direction of the American Memorial Park.

Rivera was reported missing after she did not report to her shift at Micro Beach Hotel at 11pm last Nov. 26. Rivera’s co-worker and family members searched her home, with no success, only to find her cell phone and keys on the dining room table.

The source also said the poker arcade cashiers were unaware of Rivera’s presence in the arcade as there were many players around the hours she was allegedly inside the establishment.

Rivera is described as 5’4” tall, weighs 160 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. DPS encourages the community to call 911 anytime if they have any information about her whereabouts.
