The Sand Juvy Vicious Darties drew a bye on the final play date but managed to collect enough wins in the past games to claim the Ladies division crown in the 2014 Bud Light Saipan Electronic Darts Association League.

The Darties compiled a 90-60 record in the seven-team field, three wins ahead of runner-up Jokers Kitty Kats’ 87-63 slate. The Kitty Kats needed a 14-1 or a 15-0 decision over the Smoke Pub Ladies Bull-It (65-85) to grab the top spot from the Darties, but only managed a 10-5 win.

The Naked Fish Dartin Divas finished third (82-68) after suffering a 9-6 defeat at the hands of the cellar-dwelling Jokers G-Side Shooters (71-84). The Route33 Avengers (69-81) tripped the Smoke Pub Mixed Nutz (76-89), 9-6, in the other match.

Fanihi and Flame Tree division leaders Smoke Pub D’ Mekaniks and Naked Fish Na’Gupu will try to seal their respective title bids Thursday night.

The Mekaniks are on top in the Fanihi division with a 125-55 mark, followed closely by Sand Juvy Put3ska (119-61). Na’Gupu (1-7-73) aims to foil sister team’s Ridin’ Dartty’s (103-77) own title bid in the Flame Tree league.

The Mekaniks takes on the VFW Warriors while Put3ska battles the Smoke Pub Destroyers in the Fanihi division. In the Flame Tree class, Na’Gupu clashes with Team Figa and the Ridin’ Darrty collides with Oneshot.

The final games in the Masters division will be played on Nov. 26, however, the Destroyers have sealed the crown as early as two weeks ago. They finished the season with a 130-74 record against the 160-98 slate of sister team TRA-Bull Makerz.

Yesterday was the last set of games in the Kingfisher division with the Jokers Latte Darts (129-51) and Route33 Chagi Fan (123-57) contending for the title. The A (Nov. 24 and Dec. 1), Tuesday (Nov. 25 and Dec. 2) and Chichirika (Nov. 26 and Dec. 3) divisions still have two weeks left.

Latest results in the Chichirika division have the Spartans cruising to a 12-3 win over the Snipers; Ta Chagi completing an 11-4 crushing of Blue Koi; the Disciples and Feelin’ Lucky each scoring 9-6 decisions over Bull-It and Hit ‘Em Up; and the Breakers escaping with an 8-7 victory against Jump It.

In the Tuesday B, High On Darts thrashed the Dartaholics, 14-1; the Dabarkads tripped the Snipers, 13-2; Marupok trounced the Mechanics, 9-6; and Mixblood squeezed out an 8-7 decision over Fearless.

The Predators ripped the Bud Brothers, 14-3; the Ridin’ Darrty pounded the Proofers, 13-4; the Outlawz each pulled off 11-6 wins over Sakude and Comatose; and the Mafia tripped Comatose, 9-8, in the A division. (Jon Perez)
