Vehicle emission fee raised to $40

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality has adopted new air pollution control regulations.

The regulations are outlined in the Commonwealth Register, Vol. 39 Number 12, Dec. 29, 2017.

Pursuant to the new regulations, BECQ has increased the vehicle emission certification fee from $20 to $40.

All vehicle owners requiring vehicle emission certification testing are advised that effective Feb. 1, 2018, the new vehicle emission certification testing fees are in effect. Contact BECQ at 664-8500. (PR)
