The U.S. Pinoys for Good Governance thanked everyone who became part of their programs this year and vowed to continue their advocacies in 2016.
USPGG chairperson Dr. Celia B. Lamkin, in a telephone message to members during their group’s appreciation night last Friday, said they would continue helping their countrymen especially those who are in need.
“We appreciate all the help that was given to USPGG for our accomplishments this year. We hope for their continued support in order for us to help uplift the lives of Pinoys everywhere,” said Lamkin, who failed to attend due to health reasons.
USPGG Marianas chapter member Juan Gacayan Jr. said Filipinos must be united in order for the Philippines to move forward.
“It’s good to see Filipinos united even if they are in another country. Being divided will get you nowhere. USPGG has a lot of good programs; all we need is cooperation and to help each other,” said Gacayan in Tagalog.
The appreciation night also served as the group’s Christmas party where more than 30 members shared a simple dinner.
Parlor games were then held to entertain everyone.
