USMC identifies missing Marine

TINIAN—Corporal Donovan E. Clancy, 26, assigned to Marine Wing Communication Squadron 18, has been identified as the service member who was declared missing while wading in heavy current on the northwestern shore of Tinian on Sept. 26.

The current search for Clancy coordinated by U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam began the evening of Friday, Sept. 26. Participating units include Marine Air Group 12 Marines; the Saipan Department of Public Safety; the Tinian DPS; Patrol Squadron 5; Commander, Task Force 72 and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 search and rescue teams.
