USCIS to conduct a virtual information session
Officers from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will present a Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands free 90-minute virtual information session Wednesday, July 29. Participants will learn about the interim final rule and how the Northern Mariana Islands U.S. Workforce Act of 2018 is being implemented. USCIS staff will provide information on the mandatory use of E-Verify, submission of the semi-annual report, long-term workers, the temporary departure requirement and other related topics.
This information session can be attended by webinar or teleconference, and is open to all. For those joining the webinar, it’s best to use the Chrome or Firefox web browsers for the best viewing. Please join 10 minutes prior to the start time.
Those who wish to ask questions can submit them by emailing Hawaii.CommunityRelations@uscis.dhs.gov by July 15. USCIS won’t be able to answer case-specific questions. Media members should refer their questions to Ms. Rummery, using the contact information below. Those who need disability accommodations should write to the email address above by Friday, July 24.
