How does the perception of corruption in Guam compare to other populations and countries? The University of Guam Regional Center for Public Policy will be releasing its findings in the first-ever Guam Corruption Perception Report.

A press conference featuring this report would be held at 11am on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, in the SBPA Dean’s Conference Room located on the second floor of the School of Business and Public Administration Building on the UOG campus.

A research team led by Dr. Maria Claret Ruane will present the corruption measure for Guam, which is based on data from a 2015 UOG survey and uses the corruption index and methodology developed by Transparency International.

Panelists will include:

-Dr. Maria Claret Ruane, Professor of Economics

-Dr. Annette T. Santos, dean, School of Business and Public Administration

-Dr. John J. Rivera, director, UOG Regional Center for Public Policy

The authors of the report are Ruane, Dr. Gena Rojas, assistant professor of Community Development; UOG alumna Luisa Tenorio; and UOG students Daniel Cayanan, Jun Patrick Salalila, and Christian Valencia. (PR)
