UOG offers summer travel course to Southeast Asia

The University of Guam will be offering a summer travel course to Southeast Asia this summer from July 4 to 19. Participants will travel to Cambodia, Myanmar, and Thailand. Participants may join the course for academic credit or as a noncredit community participant.

The trip will be led by UOG professor Dr. Kim Skoog, who areas of expertise include Asian Culture, Philosophy and Religion. Travelers will tour palaces and monasteries, visit remote tribal villages, explore natural wonders along rivers and lakes, ride elephants through the jungle, and more for two full weeks of adventure.

Skoog will host an informational meeting this Thursday, March 3, at 3:30pm in the Humanities and Social Sciences Conference Room.
