Unforgivable mistake
Dear Gov. Inos and members of the Legislature: If the casino investors guarantee that they will pay the $700 million debt to our retirement and invest in our CUC and hospital by providing us financial assistance to hire doctors, nurses, technicians, and other professionals to improve the services, then I would agree and support your decision to sign the casino bill. But for only $15 million—and that is not even guaranteed—I really don’t understand how you could agree to this bill.
Your behavior is questionable and shameful to our investors. You always express investor-friendly behavior yet you members of the Legislature are not showing it.
You must have a very good reason for behaving in that manner. Not having a good reason requires that you apologize to the people of CNMI and the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino for your behavior and seek their advice on how they can help us resolve our financial difficulties. Don’t make another suicide attempt because we only die once. Everyone makes mistake. Making an unintentional mistake can be forgiven. But making a mistake intentionally is unforgivable. We really want to know what reason made you behave that way.
