Undefeated records for TanHoldings, Kanoa

TanHoldings Football Club and Kanoa Football Club finished their campaign in the 2019 NMIFA Fall Youth League with unbeaten records.
TanHoldings earned a 9-0-0 win-draw-loss mark in the co-ed U12 division after a 10-2 victory over Kanoa in a make-up game last Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.
Mark Ryan Costales and Kaithlyn Chavez teamed up in TanHoldings’ strong finish after combining for all, but one of the squad’s goals. Costales scored five goals, while Chavez chipped in four, and Monico Claridades contributed one.
John Paul Lizama delivered the pair of goals for Kanoa, which finished the season in second place with its 6-0-3 mark.
In the other make-up match in the division last weekend, MP United crushed Shirley‘s FC, 8-3.
Xavier Lee and Miles Linden bagged three goals apiece, while William Sosa and William Lee registered one each. Linden scored right in the first minute of the game and completed the hat trick in the second half after hitting the board in the 33rd and 60th minute. Xavier Lee handed MP United its second goal in the fourth and duplicated Linden’s feat after finding his target in the 39th and 66th minute, while William Lee and Sosa scored in the seventh and 45th, respectively.
Shirley’s, which failed to earn a single win this season, drew two goals from Juvin Bisek and one from Tristan Kapwich. Jurvin lit up the board in the 15th and 42nd minute, while Kapwich had his goal in the 41st.
BOYS U15
Kanoa 10, Shirley’s 0
Kanoa capped its dominance in the boys U15 age group this season with a 10-0 whipping of Shirley’s last Saturday.
The division champion wrapped up the double-round robin competition with a 7-1-0 record, while Shirley’s has yet to win a single game with only one match left (make-up versus Matansa this Saturday) in the season.
Six different players scored in Kanoa’s demolition of Shirley’s with Jim Kurt Maniago leading the way after drilling three goals. Brian Lubao and Chad Escaner had two apiece, while Merrick Toves, Lester Bata, and Lubao logged one each.
TanHoldings 3, Matansa 0
TanHoldings moved from third to second place in the team standings after shutting down Matansa in the other match in the division last weekend.
TanHoldings now has a 5-0-2 record and will have its last game of the season his Saturday against the third-running MP United.
Kohtaro Goto knocked in a pair for TanHoldings, which got its other goal from Anthony Bergancia. Goto scored his first in the second minute and the second in the 43rd or a minute after Bergancia gave TanHoldings a 2-0 lead.
