The United Filipino Organizations once again gave away free food like congee, eggs, biscuits, bread, and drinks to all hikers going up the peak of Mt. Tapochau on April 17-18, 2014.

According to UFO president Annamae Daza, this activity is a form of service to the community “that we render and of course with the help of all our donors.”

Peter Crisostomo of the MDX Radio Club chaired the event. The MDX Radio Club started giving out free food to pilgrims going up Mt. Tapochau back in 1993. Other organizations joined the group and the event is now spearheaded by UFO with the help of member organizations, companies, and individuals.

This year’s donors are Star Water Co., Detry Pumping Services (Mr. Ronald), Get Covered Tent (Mr. Tino Camacho), Global CNMI Logistics, Freddie Cataluna of Five Star Builders, The Lounge Bakery, Fong’s Bakery, National Office Supply, Jhem’s Restaurant, D’ Elegance Café, McDonald’s Saipan, DL /JOS Corp., Mario Mayuga, Peter Crisostomo. Mr. & Mrs. Gerry Encio, Lorna Baro, Gemma Batusin, Lei Hicaro, June Banadera, Sandy Pablo, Jessie Yumul of YCO Corp., Toshiba Pacific Home Appliance, Cosmos Distributing Co., Donna Lynn General Merchandise, Don Pedro Restaurant, Star 6 Enterprises, Marianas Association of Filipino Engineers and Architects, Marianas Institute of Filipino CPA’s and Accountants, MDX Radio Club, Visminda, Bayani Association, Northern Marianas Bartenders Association, and CNMI Power.
