Two-way tie in Flame Tree Division

Other division leaders include Master division’s IT&E Kamote’s of Es’y Kitchen; C-Division’s One Shot of VFW Post 3457; Tuesday B-League’s Sabalu Boys of D’Pirates; and B-Fanihi’s Echoserong Kamote of Naked Fish Bar & Grill.

Chagi Sang mowed down the Skoregazzzums (47-73), 11-4, at Joe’s Steakhouse, while co-leader Gaiana-B saved face with a 9-6 home win over D’Pirates’ Lucky Dart (59-61).

When the dust cleared both frontrunners came out to identical win-loss slates of 73-47.

In other results, D’Pirates’ Sabalu (68-52) knocked off Joe’s One Shot (61-59), 10-5, at home and Naked Fish’s Na’Gupu (61-59) snuck past Why Not (31-89), 8-7, at Oleai.

Notables include Sabalu’s Ray Indalecio posting a 160 High In and Skoregazzums’ Joel Tudela a 112 High Out.

IT&E Kamote’s defeated Oleai’s D’Companeros (61-75), 10-7, at home on Wednesday to improve its win-loss record to 83-53. However, runner-up Es’y’ Kitchen’s SOS Jokers (81-51) gained a game on its sister team after an 11-6 victory over Oleai Snipers (62-74) on the road. Meanwhile, D’Pirates’ M-Destroyers (76-60) romped Jonny’s Azkals (45-91), 11-6, at home.

M-Destroyers’ Sadiri Martin and D’Companeros’ Julius Monton posted 160 High In and SOS Jokers’ Jeff Barit marked a 155 High Out in their respective matches.

Also on Wednesday, One Shot absorbed a 7-8 upset to Jonny’s Night Hawks (59-61) on the road. One Shot now holds a 81-39 card, however runner-up D’Pirates’ Yotsketeh Boys gained a nice chunk of ground on them after an 11-4 victory over sister team Lucky Shot (55-65) in a road draw. Yotsketeh now rests in second by just three games.

Third-ranked Anies Imuza (77-43) bested Naked Fish’s Oh! MG (61-59), 9-6, at home in Sand’s Bar to stay in the chase; Joe’s I Like It (50-70) defeated Bar Gaia’s Gaiana-C (38-82), 9-6, on the road; and the Oleai Sparks (65-55) topped Gaia’s World-C (44-76), 9-6, at home.

Yotsketeh’s Gil Gapor recorded a 152 High In and teammate Buddy Garote a 138 High Out.

Back on Tuesday, the Sabalu Boys lit up the Assashunz (33-87), 14-1, at VFW to improve its record to 98-22. Sabalu is running away from the field with its 21-game margin over the field.

Es’y Kamote’s Shawarma Boys (73-47) fended off the Oleai GCC Carpeters (66-54), 8-7, on the road and remains a game ahead of former runner-up D’Pirates’ Delubyo.

Delubyo defeated Oleai’s Strike Force (52-68), 10-5, at home; Jonny’s Dosukebe Boys (55-65) upset D’Pirates’ Mixed Blood Shooters 2 (70-50), 10-5, on the road; and Oleai’s Ombre Za (54-66) schooled sister team K-1 Snickers (27-93), 10-5, in an away draw.

Ombre Za’s Ray Anthony Fitial marked a 160 High In and Dosukebe’s Kento Togawa a 113 High Out.

On Thursday, Echoserong’s lead atop the Fanihi field fell to six after a 7-8 home loss to Jonny’s Sekid (48-72); they now hold an overall card of 76-44.

Meanwhile, Gaia’s World B and Es’y’s SOS Akiramenai are tied for second place in the eight-team division with identical records of 70-50.

World-B fought off the Dutty Gunz (66-54), 8-7, at VFW and SOS Akirameni downed Oh Yeah! (39-81), 9-6, at Oleai, while Es’y’s Kitchen Shooters (59-61) upset Oleai’s No Fear (60-60), 8-7, at home.

Notables include SOS Akiramenai’s Manny Blas who marked a 160 High In and Dutty Gunz’s Norman Camacho who had a 129 High Out in their respective matches.
