TSOUristas kicks off global tour on Sunday

The Filipino Channel kick off its TSOUristas Global Trip on Sunday on Saipan with The Story of Us stars Kim Chiu and Xian Lim out to entertain our kababayans. The event, bringing the widely followed teleserye, is from 7pm to 10:30pm at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall.

Saipan is the first stop of a series of TFC events dubbed TSOUristas Global Trip, which will share the entertainment value of ABS-CBN’s most watched shows across the world.

“Bringing The Story Of Us stars to Saipan marks another first in our efforts to bring a total content experience to new markets,” said ABS-CBN Pacific managing director Ailene Averion.

“We continue to expand our audience in new areas as we hear the needs of our Kapamilyas for world-class Filipino entertainment, guaranteed by a brand that is TFC,” Averion added.

She said Chiu and Lim are two of the generation’s brightest starts that will sure deliver an unforgettable experience that will make our Kapamilyas feel that we always try to deliver to them a piece of home.

Chiu and Lim, labeled as one of the hottest and most enduring Filipino love teams of their time, will get closer to their fans as they bring the thrill of their tandem on Saipan’s shores as they share the songs from the including Kailangan Kita (I Need You) performed by Angeline Quinto.

Chiu, also known as the Chinita Princess, is not only an award-winning actress but also a top-selling performer as well. Kim first came into the entertainment scene after being named the Grand Winner of the first Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition.

Since then, Chiu has consistently made a name for herself from television, movies, even at the music industry. During The Story of Us show on Saipan, she will share her own hits such as Mr. Right.

Lim is also a multi-talented artist himself and will perform solo of international cover songs and his own hits like Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, and duets with Chiu.
The Chiu-Lim love team started when ABS-CBN partnered them in the teleserye Binondo Girl, one the network’s most widely followed and much-talked about series. After proving their mettle as a team, they have since scored top-rating series and blockbuster movies.

The Story of Us is their comeback series after 2012’s top-rating teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak. Now, the reunion drama is set to create another milestone for both TFC and the love team. This is also ABS-CBN’s e first major event on Saipan after a long time.

The event is made possible by Philippine Airlines (PAL), which also announces the launch of their flights to Saipan on June 15, 2016.
