The first ever Running Dead, a fundraiser in the form of an obstacle course, was hosted by the Tan Siu Lin Foundation last Oct. 29 at the CPA airport field to raise funds that would be donated to the Marianas March Against Cancer.

TanHoldings vice president Cathy Attao-Toves was pleased with the turnout. “We had 11 teams of 10, volunteer zombies, and also volunteer judges. With our three different obstacles, the teams had a challenge going through [them all]. It is really nice to see the holiday spirit come out,” she said.

Toves also mentioned the simultaneous event hosted by TanHoldings, Trunk or Treat, in which various business units came together to hand out candies to children.

“At the same time we had the Trunk or Treat. I really want to applaud the efforts of TanHoldings to come out and share that Halloween spirit. It was also great to see all the little kids happy with candy and [is overall] a great community event,” she said.

The top three teams to finish the Running Dead obstacle course was team Sexy Ladies, team Patay Gutom, and MBA Squad, finishing at 64.42 minutes and 14 life flags left, 62.35 minutes with 20 life flags, and 60.09 minutes with 12 life flags left.
