The Tan Siu Lin Foundation recently provided gift bags to the graduates of Kagman High School, Chacha Oceania View Middle School, and Da’ok Academy.

The gift bags, which included a mug and a personalized shirt, were presented to the students during their respective graduation and promotion ceremonies.

“The beautiful T-shirt will remind them of all the hard work and dedication they put in the school year,” said Da’ok Academy principal Christine Tudela, who reached out to the TSL Foundation after Kagman’s commencement exercises and saw the gift bags given to the Ayuyus’ Class of 2021.

Da’ok Academy received 31 gift bags, while the TSL Foundation gave the same package to the school’s eight faculty and staff. Kagman graduates and faculty and staff received 150, while Chacha got 106.

Kagman principal Ben Jones extended his appreciation to the TSL Foundation for its support to the Ayuyus.

“We are grateful for the partnership. Since the school year began, the TSL Foundation has given the kids a strong support by providing them with laptop bags. Now, the foundation has also provided each of our graduates a gift bag,” said Jones, adding that the Ayuyus are excited to support the TSL Foundation in its community activities to repay its kindness.

Chacha principal Martha Kintol also acknowledged the TSL Foundation for its generosity, especially the students. She said the gift bags were distributed to all 8th grade as part of an incentive package given last June 3 during their promotion ceremony.

TSL Foundation executive director Merlie Tolentino said the gift bags were just a small token for the big accomplishments of the Class of 2021 in these challenging times.

“Congratulations on your graduation and promotion. It was not easy achieving this goal because of the pandemic, but through your hard work, resilience, and dedication and the support of the people around you, especially your parents and teachers, you were able to make it. Good luck and on to your next journey,” Tolentino said. (PR)
