we saw him on television news wearing a mask
finally following CDC guidelines but late on task
playing out his consistent demagogic deform.
SCOTUS ruled on 45s refusal to submit taxes
despite his egregious arguments, tweets and faxes
we may well have to wait till after the election
for a more thorough examination and inspection
before his post presidential golf course relaxes.
What a callous unthinking choice of venue
his large unmasked campaign gathering menu
falling lower in the polls, less folks turn out
45 suffering anxiety, disturbed state and gout
desperate for popular figures to join his retinue.

for empathy and understanding issues that come to mind
a 5th grade vocabulary, him being a nonreader and stuck
on himself and self alone, relies on tweeting with phone
makes him desire his sycophants to focus solely on him
though he hired ‘the best’ he forced himself out of luck
the generals and business leaders had minds of their own
they had hindsight, foresight, vision while 45 used whim
he got rid of independent thinkers one at a time one by one
and brought in sycophants, compliant ready and hot to trot
he steers his course blind, they follow along until he is done
as morals, ethics, leadership, and rule of law continue to rot.
