Shame on Our Redacted Republic
I sadly smile along with POTUS 45 for different reasons
and protest with poetry about his three years and seasons
out of concern since his angry Jan. 2016 inauguration speech
when he flipped out insults so his diehard base need no reasons
He tweets in haste and then his adopted party makes waste
of almost every new bill the House Democrats have passed
a partisan lawmaking blockade Moscow Mitch can taste
as they redact their own communications saving few that last..
Rick Gates and others are still in the sentencing process
as 45’s fleet of lawyers obfuscate and put the brakes on
every subpoena aspect of all the criminal investigation mess.
Meanwhile in the White House “dump” lie time is not gone
House impeachment hearings had few Republican spins
Chief Justice Roberts comes over as the Senate trial begins.
The Lying King’s Directives

Let us not to all the right wing hullabaloo and invective
fall victim. “Truth is not truth.” says 45’s personal clown,
Gepetto Guiliani, he with rotten runny brown nose
as both lackey and adherent to the Lying King’s directives.
Oh yes! It is an ongoing nitwit narcissist lying battle
that sees all the investigations as a hoax and witch hunt
with a Kentucky Senator horse on a white Russian saddle
who has won by force but in this game is forced to punt.
Democracy is not obstructions fool, though all the lying
and obfuscation throw impunity and impediments in its way
United States Constitutional law and statutes are not dying
but will persevere in honor and strength and win at end of day.
If the House of Representatives is wrong and that is proved
Then I have never taken a dump nor my bowels ever moved.
