Kagman High School scholars and the larger KHS community extend their gratitude to Triple J Enterprises, Inc. for partnering with the school’s Million Dollar Scholars following their recent donation of $1,500.
“Triple J is gracious to partner with Kagman High School as we prepare our students for the brightest possible future. We recognize that Triple J is making an investment in our students and that is a true investment in our island,” said Million Dollar Scholars in a statement.
Members of the school’s Million Dollar Scholars program said they will continue to work and make themselves career- and -college ready and that they graciously thank Triple J for helping their goal become a reality.
The Million Dollar Scholars is a select group of seniors at Kagman High School. They call themselves Million Dollar Scholars because they have a collective goal to be awarded more than $1 million in scholarships that they will use to attend college in the U.S. mainland.
“We will study together, travel together, and attend university together. We have banded together to overcome the obstacles, which have traditionally impeded students from higher education off-island: poverty, distance, loneliness, and procrastination. By forming a cohort we are stronger. We hope that by supporting one another, working with the strengths of our peers, we will be successful,” said Million Dollar Scholars.
Triple J Enterprises senior vice president Jay Jones shared the following with the Million Dollar Scholars, “My father has always said ‘Let’s all remember to put more into the pot of life than we take out and leave some for those less fortunate.’”
His words resonate within the group of companies as Triple J Enterprises strives to build better communities.
This company said it is part of a solution to help bright and talented students on Saipan who are left out of higher educational opportunity succeed and fulfill dreams they couldn’t otherwise fulfill without the support of organizations such as the Million Dollar Scholars of Kagman High School.
“Triple J is proud to be a partner and we support them in their efforts through this sponsorship,” said Jones.
