For over 10 years, Triple J Saipan and Hyatt Regency Saipan have partnered in many charitable events.

“We are proud to be major sponsors for the upcoming charity golf classic whose proceeds enhance the community in more ways than one. We are especially proud to support the Make-a-Wish Foundation, one of the six nonprofit organizations benefiting from this amazing event,” said Jay Santos, Five Star Wholesale Foods and Triple J Truckload Store general manager. “We are also super excited to announce our Nathan’s Hotdog tent is back for a second year and we have a treat in store for the banquet with fantastic Certified Angus Beef dishes prepared by executive chef Colombo and his culinary team at Hyatt Regency Saipan. So be sure to bring your appetites and guests for a good cause!”

Randy Steele, GM of Triple J Motors said, “We love participating in events that truly benefit our island community and with a little fun and excitement. Our hole-in-one prize, a 2017 Mazda 6i Touring vehicle…is a truly exciting reason to enter the 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic tournament! We’re happy to support our good friends at Hyatt with this hole-in-one donation.”

Triple J Enterprises first opened when Robert H. Jones signed a business agreement with his oldest brother, the late Kenneth T. Jones Jr. The two purchased a franchise of Subaru on the island of Guam. Most wonder where the origin of the business name is from. It is the first initials of Robert and Margaret Jones’ children: Jeff, Julie and Jay. By 2004, the Triple J Enterprise had an extremely large and diverse portfolio of businesses inclusive of wholesale food distribution in Guam, Saipan and the Marshall Islands; dealerships of brand name automobiles and supplies; real estate development and brokerage; and, world-famous restaurant chains. As the enterprise continues to expand, it supports the development and growth of the economy on Saipan.

All proceeds of the golf classic will go to the event’s six beneficiaries to include: Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kagman High School Million Dollar Club, Marianas Behavioral Health International, Karidat, Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation, and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council.

“Triple J and Hyatt Regency Saipan are long-time business partners. The extended support we receive from Triple J for our annual tournament is immeasurable. And, like all our sponsors, Triple J shares in our mission to care for those within our community and understands this tournament is a vehicle in which we do so. Triple J has consistently delivered great hole-in-one prizes and provided the highest quality food-items to our players on the course, and, especially at our poolside awards banquet,” said Ty Pauling, director of Food and Beverage.

Hyatt Regency Saipan will hold its 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic event at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort west course on April 22, 2017. For more information contact 234-1234 Ext. 26. (Hyatt)
