Triple J Saipan donated $2,500 to the 2019 CNMI Liberation Day Committee last week to support Saipan’s signature event, making the company a silver sponsor of this year’s Liberation Day festivities.

“We are excited to have Triple J Saipan as a [sponsor]. This year is shaping up to be a great one as our committee is working really hard to put together another memorable Liberation Day event,” said Liberation Day chair Joe Ayuyu Jr.

Silver sponsorship is given to a company or organization that has contributed $2,500 in cash or in-kind donation.

“Triple J Saipan commends the tireless efforts of the Saipan Mayor’s Office and the 2019 Liberation Day Committee for organizing and executing what is one of the island’s biggest community events, our Liberation Day festivities and parade,” said Mike Sablan, vice president of finance and administration of Triple J Enterprises, Inc.

This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Saipan.

Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang said plans are well underway for another successful Liberation Day and promised that this year’s festivities will be “particularly special.” (PR)
