Triple J Saipan, Inc. and its affiliate businesses on Saipan have donated $2,000 to Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance to support the Green Gala that will be held on Sept. 13 at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.

Mike Sablan, Triple J Saipan vice president of finance and administration, was joined by other Triple J officers in presenting the donation to MINA executive director Roberta Guerrero and other MINA volunteers at the one of Triple J’s restaurants, Surf Club, in Chalan Kanoa.

In presenting the donation, Sablan said, “MINA displays an unwavering dedication for its continued avocation for the protection and preservation of our natural resources. A commitment which shows sincere passion for such work and is admirable. We are proud to support their efforts.”

Guerrero said that Triple J Saipan “continues to exhibit their commitment to conservation and our environment, and we’re so honored to have them on board once again as sponsors for our Green Gala, as well as their annual sponsorship of our Adopt-a-Bin program.

“This is the type of support that allows MINA to continue with our mission of empowering communities for conservation, and we are very appreciative of their ongoing efforts for the betterment of our community,” said Guerrero.

Its support of MINA is part of Triple J Saipan’s green practices. Affiliates adhere to sustainable, green business practices in one capacity or another, from waste management to the use of eco-friendly materials and equipment.

Triple J Enterprises, Inc. has served the islands for over three decades. It has several affiliates, which include the Triple J Auto Group, Triple J Commercial Tire, Triple J Rentals (Hertz Rent A Car), Five Star Wholesale Foods, and Triple J Restaurant Group (Outback Steakhouse in Guam, Tony Roma’s, Capricciosa and Truong’s Vietnamese restaurant on Saipan).
