Track and field season continues

Although the PSS/McDonald’s All Schools Athletics championships has concluded, track season still continue for the Marianas with the next meet set for June 19.
The next meet will begin at 4:30pm on June 19 and will feature an 18U division, open, and masters for 35 and over.
Featured events during the track meet include a 100m and 1,600m event, 4x200m relay event, javelin, shotput, long jump, and a mix 4x400m relay event.

Northern Marianas Athletics, the Public School System, and McDonald’s awarded the top athletes of the 2021 PSS/McDonald’s All Schools Athletics Championships last May 24.
On May 24, NMA, PSS, and McDonald’s distributed medals to the MVPs in the 9U, 12U, 14U, and 18U divisions of the Athletics Championships at the Oleai Track and Field.
Medals were handed out to Mount Carmel School’s Andrei Kaithlyn Chavez, Grace Christian School’s Jasper Hall, Saipan International School’s Tiana Cabrera, Beatrice Gross, and Jude Rayphand, Agape Christian School’s Eason Tang, Tinian Elementary School’s Ysabella Lenteja, and Brilliant Star School’s Moshe Sikkel and Aiden Camacho.
