Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help for a burglary, theft and graffiti incidents that occurred at Banzai cliff and Grotto in Marpi.

On Friday, July 24, 2015, at about 11:50am, police responded to Banzai Cliff and met with security. According to the male security guard, at about 9am that morning he discovered three metal plaques from the monuments and one ornament bowl for incense had gone missing. The same security guard was assigned at the Banzai Cliff lookout the day before and confirmed the stolen items were still there when he got off work Thursday, July 23, 2015, at about 5pm.

Police learned that graffiti was spray painted onto the Grotto pavilion and water tank. The graffiti included the letter “A” and the number “6” on it.
