Torres to address SHRM at its first 2016 meeting
The Society for Human Resource Management CNMI Chapter is honored to host Gov. Ralph DLG Torres as special guest speaker at its first general membership meeting of 2016 on Thursday, Jan. 28.
Torres will address issues related to the planned 902 consultations with the federal government, what the human resource community can expect in the upcoming year, relative to jobs, immigration issues, the workforce, workforce training opportunities, the looming manpower shortage with the anticipated casinos and other development, and other employment and human resource related topics. The governor will also provide an opportunity for questions from the audience.
This special meeting will be held on Jan. 28, at Charley’s Cabaret, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, from 11:30am to 1:30pm and will include lunch at a cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
