Torres to address SHRM’s first 2015 meeting

The Society for Human Resource Management CNMI Chapter will host Lt. Gov. Ralph DLG Torres as its special guest speaker at the group’s first general membership meeting of 2015, this Thursday, Jan. 29. Torres will address issues related to what the human resource community can expect in the upcoming year relative to jobs, immigration issues, the workforce, workforce training opportunities, the looming manpower shortage with the anticipated casino and other development, and other employment and human resource related topics. Torres will also answer questions from the audience.

The program will include the installation ceremony for the 2015 board of the CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

This special meeting will be held this Thursday at Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club, from 11:30am to 1:30pm and will include lunch at a cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
