Throughout the month of May, Tony Roma’s Saipan participated in the Make-A-Wish appetizer card promotion, with half of the proceeds going directly to the foundation. Locations in Guam and Florida also participated.
“This fundraising promotion was a no-brainer to help [children] in need,” said Tony Roma’s Saipan general manager Atsushi Aoki. “We are so happy to participate and raise funds for this incredible foundation,”
He noted that many patrons were excited to be a part of raising money for Make-A-Wish.
Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. The Make-A-Wish Foundation first began in 1980 and has raised millions of dollars over the past 37 years.
Eleanor T. Cabrera, CNMI member of the Make-A-Wish board, said, “On behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam & CNMI, I thank Tony Roma’s Saipan and the Triple J family for their donation. Our foundation serves Guam and the CNMI by granting wishes of medically eligible children who are between the ages of 2-1/2 and 18. We are dedicated to making every eligible child’s wish come true, and the ongoing support of generous companies, like Triple J Enterprises, helps us and the community immensely.”
