Tony Pellegrino for governor
Tony is about 280 years old and could out-think and out-negotiate the best that the CNMI could offer. And that’s a fact. The guy has the best ideas for this island, the most business experience in the Pacific, has lived and done business directly with major markets for the CNMI, established a profitable tourism company, and has more passion than men half his age.
Stop voting for your damned relatives. The orgy of political incest that locals have created on Saipan is destroying each and every day. The sad fact is you don’t have a talented leader or visionary who has proven international business skills and the cultural flexibility to see the big picture, while having the leadership skills and business skills to see and solve the short-term daily problems. Only when the CNMI starts allowing non-locals to run the show will you ever prosper.
Guys, face it, you just simply don’t have the skill set and ability to do the job anymore in today’s new world. Do you realize how stupid the CNMI looks to the rest of America and the world when they go to China and say they’ll lease their lands to them? Have you read the comments on Yahoo about that story? Anyone? Readers are laughing at the CNMI and calling you all sorts of names.
America is struggling over lost manufacturing and jobs to China, embarrassed and angry that the Chinese control our national debt and we keep borrowing from them, and now here is this little island in the Pacific, a broke and busted rock that’s now begging the Chinese to come and, “Please, Big Brother, come help us poor islanders and pay us money to take our lands and give us money to do nothing.” What kind of leadership is that? Do you think Tony Pellegrino would be begging and whining at the Chinese for money. No! He’s already devising ways to export crops to them and work for it.
A leadership with no self-respect and no ability to see past their own little palm tree to see how the rest of America and the world sees them for even a moment concerning one issue could never find a solution to the current problems. They’re blind! Actually, the CNMI doesn’t want solutions and ideas; they just want a handout and free money from someone so they don’t have to work their way out of the problem.
Tony, save your good ideas brother-nobody on Saipan really cares-but I applaud your passion, vision, and commitment to stand by a sinking ship and its ignorant captain that can’t navigate because he’s too busy complaining.
