Today is Saipan chamber meeting at Fiesta

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s June membership meeting is today, June 5, at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan’s Hibiscus Hall. This meeting’s spotlight is the Chamber’s “2019 Scholarship Award Ceremony” where it will be celebrating all the ways Chamber members continue to invest in the CNMI’s youth.
The speakers for the event will include remarks from former SCC scholars: press secretary Kevin Bautista (Class of 2011); Senate legislative assistant Alexis Hofschneider (Class of 2011); Commonwealth Casino Commission financial auditor Michael Sheu, who is also part-owner of Hong Ye Hardware (Class of 2011).
The six Chamber scholars in 2019 will also be introduced.
Additionally, there will be updates on the following: prevailing wage survey, the 2019 Corporate Challenge winners, and the time management seminar scheduled June 26
The luncheon begins at 11:30am and with the meeting portion starting promptly at noon. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members/$35 for non-members.
