Tinian Mayor Joey Patrick San Nicolas is inviting the public to the 2017 Pika Festival.

“On behalf of the island of Tinian, I invite all of our brothers and sisters in the Commonwealth all the way down to Guam and all throughout Micronesia to the beautiful island of Tinian to annually celebrate the donne sali,” said San Nicolas.

The annual Hot Pepper Festival, or Pika Festival, is going to be held at the Tachogna Beach from tomorrow until Sunday, from 2pm to 11pm.

Highlights of the festival are the food, both spicy and non-spicy, island-style entertainment, games, booths, and more.

The festival celebrates the donne sali, or the Tinian pepper.
