As part of the Tinian Mayor’s Office’s priorities to continue keeping Tinian clean, Mayor Joey Patrick San Nicolas’ office will continue with beautification projects that promotes the municipality.

One such project that occurs on a monthly basis is the cleanup of Tinian’s main Broadway Avenue that runs through the center of San Jose Village all the way up to North Field.

From June 19-23, the mayor’s special project’s staff together with Tinian Department of Public Works and Department of Land and Natural Resources staff, worked hand-in-hand to clear Broadway Avenue from the entrance of the Tinian Airport up to the Shinto Shrine north of Unai Dangkulu (Long Beach). The project has been successful and will continue to be a part of the municipality’s priorities.

Despite the economic challenges of the municipality, San Nicolas will continue to reach out to the different government and private entities to collaborate in projects such as this. In doing so, Tinian will continue to experience progress.

San Nicolas and the people of Tinian extend their appreciation to the mayor’s special projects staff, the 16th Tinian Municipal Council staff, the Tinian DPW and DLNR staff, as well as all those who participated. San Nicolas also extends his sincerest appreciation for the 16th Tinian Municipal Council Chairman, councilman Antonio SN. Borja, for ensuring the success of the project as he was the acting mayor during this time. (PR)
