Tinian DRC closing but help is still available
The Disaster Recovery Center on Tinian will close today, Dec. 14, 2018, at 6pm, but help will still be available for disaster survivors impacted by Typhoon Mangkhut and Super Typhoon Yutu.
After the DRC ceases operations, survivors whose homes or businesses affected by the typhoons can still get updates about applications, learn about the appeals process, or check the status of their applications by logging in to their account at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. Persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 800-462-7585. The toll-free numbers are open daily.
The Small Business Administration will open a Disaster Loan Outreach Center at the same site.
The Disaster Recovery Center on Saipan at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center will remain open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm; and on Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. It will be closed on Sunday.
Effective Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, the Tinian SBA DLOC will be open at the Tinian Department of Commerce, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm. It will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
The SBA Business Recovery Center on Saipan remains open at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce office at the third floor of the Marianas Business Plaza (former Nauru building) Mondays to Fridays, from 8am to 4pm; and on Saturdays, from 10am to 4pm. It is closed on Sundays. (PR)
