Tinian Diamond Hotel now open

Bridge Investment Group announced the opening of the new Tinian Diamond Hotel earlier this month.

The hotel had a soft opening in the month of February but the official opening, which only happened last July 1, got pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The boutique hotel is located in San Jose Village and offers 17 appointed rooms with many having balconies where guests can enjoy ocean views. Other services near the hotel include the American Gun Club, the outdoor firearm shooting range, and the Tinian Diamond Casino that uis targeted for a December 2020 opening.

According to BIG chair Kacy Meng, the Tinian Diamond Hotel is the first of the company’s hospitality investments to open, to be followed with the launch of the Sand Diamond ferry service. “[Sand Diamond] is a passenger and car ferry capable of carrying 290 passengers and 30 vehicles between Tinian and Saipan daily,” said Meng.

“The Tinian Diamond Hotel now provides Tinian with much-needed additional room capacity for both international and domestic visitors wishing to experience the rich history, culture, and warm hospitality of our island,” said Tinian Mayor Edwin Aldan. “I am grateful to BIG for their continued commitment to bringing world-class hospitality offerings to Tinian.”

A special grand opening discount of 15% off the rates published on the website are available to CNMI residents from July to the end of September.
