NMC FOUNDATION OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT
Thousands of dollars worth of prizes up for grabs
There will be thousands of dollars worth of prizes up for grabs at the 12th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open golf tournament set for April 18 at the west course of the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
The first place winner for each flight will receive $500, second place winner will receive $300, and the players placing third in each category will receive $200. There are six flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Ladies, and Seniors.
In addition to the flight prizes, there will be hole-in-one prizes including a $10,000 cash prize, sponsored by Marianas Insurance Company.
The 12th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament is organized by the NMC Foundation with assistance from the college’s staff, faculty, and students. The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to elevating higher education opportunities in the CNMI.
The tournament will take place at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s west course. Show time is at 6am with a shotgun start at 7am.
Those interested in playing can download a registration form at www.marianas.edu or pick up a form at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort or at the NMC Cashier’s Office where the $95 registration fee can also be paid.
The NMC Foundation is also asking companies or individuals who can contribute Education Tax Credit, monetary, or in-kind donations to sponsor the tournament.
