Thank you

The Bicol Association Mariana Islands, Inc., or BAMI Inc., would like to say thank you to all those who supported us during our fundraising activities for the benefit of victims of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in the Bicol region. Our mission to extend in-kind support to severely affected families in Bicol will not be possible without your untiring support.

These photos show the actual distribution of food items for the “Adopt a Family, Tabang Bicol” relief drive. The relief distribution drive took place in Nato, a coastal town in Sangay, Partido, Camarines Sur. As of this writing, the same town is currently experiencing hardship due to a massive flooding because of Typhoon Bising.

The president of the Nato town Parish Council Organization, headed by Jun Rivero and Ana Fuentebella, led a group of volunteers for the distributions of relief goods to about 400 families in these coastal areas. Kudos to BAMI Inc. treasurer Loida Fuentevilla and her family member in Sangay who unselfishly facilitated the distribution of “Adopt a Family, Tabang Bicol” relief operations. BAMI, Inc. delivered every penny that you entrusted us.

Again, thank you all for your support. This is the first, among our series of relief drives. There will be more to follow in the next couple of days because a generous construction company in Garapan who happens to be a Bicolano has donated huge amount for the same purpose. We are now working on it in other provinces in the Bicol region.

Special thanks to BAMI Inc. president Noel Ordas, board chair Jimmy B, officers Boyet Escober, Marlon Regaton, VP Jordan Danao, Walter Brillo, Jun and Sandra Miday, Zumba Dance group headed by Bobby and wife, Ms. Dorothy Jones, UFO headed by president Mar Masilungan, Mafea headed by former president Birhen and Bong Martinez, McPhetres Foundation, Saipan Unity Lions Club, Emon Masonic Lodge 179, and to those who purchased Tabang Bicol T-shirts, among others, thank you very much.

Mabalos saindo gabos and mabuhay!
