To Saipan Mayor Dave Apatang, thank you for moving to a new and spacious office to accommodate people with disabilities and our elderly family members with easy access to the services you provide to the public on a daily basis. I urge other government agencies and private businesses to follow our mayor’s footsteps in ensuring their buildings and parking spaces are easy and readily accessible to all members of the public, especially people with disabilities and the elderly.

People with disabilities and the elderly also pay honest money for services rendered, so in turn government agencies and private businesses should also do their part in making sure one’s experience

with their establishment is safe and convenient to the highest standard. I speak in my personal capacity as a person with a disability who currently uses a wheelchair to get around.
